Kogelberg Chenin Blanc comes from a registered Single Vineyard from the Elgin farm Vrede en Lust.
The wine and vineyard block is named after the UNESCO biosphere where the vineyards are
cultivated, it is said to have the most diverse flora in the world.

A full-bodied wine with typical Chenin Blanc characteristics, with aromas of orange peel and citrus fruits,
which has a rich palette with notes of honey and ripe fruit.
It is the perfect partner for different types of food. Enjoy this wine, for example, with Asian food or
spicy mexican food.

The first bottling of one Chenin Blanc variety took place in 2011 and just before the market launch
received the Michelangelo Gold Award.
The 2015 vintage was awarded a silver medal at the 2016 IWSC.

Kogelberg Chenin Blanc 2016 was awarded Double Platinum at the 2019 National Wine Challenge. 
Chenin Blanc 2017 was awarded Top 100 & Double Platinum at the National Wine Challenge. 
Many awards only prove the great popularity of this unique wine.
