For current owners Muratie Rijka and Kim Melck, there was only one name for their exquisite Chardonnay: their daughter Isabella.
Made from free-flowing juice from hand-harvested, whole bunch-pressed grapes, this popular Chardonnay is naturally fermented
and it was subsequently aged in 500L French oak for nine months.
The juice was refrigerated at approximately 8˚C for two days.
This fresh and elegant wine with peach blossom aromas aims to evoke the beauty and delicacy associated with falling asleep
and butterfly kisses their beautiful little girls. So the oak (in this case 11 months) is subtle and only serves to spice up
the stone fruit, melon and citrus flavors with a touch of hazelnuts and vanilla cream.
This Chardonnay is beautifully smooth and understated, with a clean, slightly spicy and lingering "mineral" finish,
which promises a great charm even beyond the childish innocent beauty.
